EDIT: If you were on the lookout for me (stalker!) though the odds of that are slim, you would have been horrifically disappointed cause I decided not to go after all. I had enough of dis-excitement for one day after my trip to the Education fair and even the thought of a FREE goodie bag did not change my mind.
No, I wasn’t there like all the other joy-joy smiling people (not the happy-to-take-your-money exhibitors, mind you. they pretend good.) who were unreasonably excited about being assimilated into societies’ pinnacle of conformity (I don’t even know what that means).
I should have stood on a raised platform with a picket sign in both hands shouting “Repent! Repent! The end is near!! Education is evil! Don’t fall for their lies!” and stuff like that. Well, at least I learnt something yesterday; how to say “No”. “NOO, I will not fill up that form for you.”
Now I just wonder if I would be unreasonably happy too if only I made better decisions regarding MY education. NAW!
p.s. To all you aspiring Nuclear Physicists, do me a favor and blow up the world.
